I think Labour’s Brexit position going forward is spot on. Not sure if I’ve said that about our Brexit position before.

-We should negotiate a deal.
-We should ask people if this is what they voted for.
-We should put a deal against the option to Remain in a public vote. 1/10
As a Democratic Party, we have to have a Leave option, and a Remain option. People are entitled to change their minds, on both sides of the debate. A majority of voters aren’t extreme, as in No Deal or Ever closer union types. But they do want resolution. 2/10
I think a deal that involves SM/CU access is there for the taking. Whether you agree or not, essentially we leave the EU, with the best possible protections. But lets be straight - there is no good Brexit. The best deal available is the one we already have. 3/10
I honestly do not see what is wrong asking the people if this is what they voted for. Not everyone will agree, of course, but extreme positions have already been occupied by the Tories, Lib Dems and The Farage Party. 4/10
Labour are trying to offer people a bit more. A commitment to a public vote, Remain vs Labour Brexit Deal.

No other party is offering anything that resembles a genuine attempt at a compromise. 5/10
It’s very easy for media people like Dale to rip in to Thornberry without actually thinking it through. He’s another one in favour of a no idea Brexit. His Brexit won’t ever be accepted by the Labour Party. Responsibility is essential for any party aspiring to govern. 6/10
I’ve chatted with Labour Leavers, very few favour a no idea Brexit, but they can support a Labour Brexit. I know quite a few Remain voters that would accept a Labour Brexit. We have to find a middle ground somewhere. 7/10
Tom Watson’s attempt to delay an Election in favour of a referendum is ludicrous. We can’t negotiate a deal or put it to the public vs Remain in a public vote *unless we are in government* Tom. Argument over. 8/10
Cards on the table, I would accept the outcome of any public vote, and would be more inclined to vote Remain, again. But if the country voted to leave with Labour’s Brexit Plan it should be implemented as quickly as possible so we can get on with the next phase. 9/10
I think we’ve got this one right, and credit to the party and wider membership for coming up with a practical compromise.

But remember, we can only do this from a position of government, however that might come around 10/10
