Why, if the premises of climate catastrophe are accepted, are the actions of the eco-warrior Horizon Corporation, untethered by any religious notion of the sacredness of human life or injunctions against murder, not the logical response?
The answer of course is squeamishness, but squeamishness can be overcome. As Camus pointed out there is little defense in purely secular thought against "rational terror".
