My question is how is it Pakistan has so much money to pay off journalists but India cannot get one positive article written in International media.

You have no idea how much clout China exercises in media and academia in the US and worldwide. No "South Asia Studies" like nonsense about China. It uses money and muscle power both in managing media narratives. India is a whipping boy.
India does not even have a serious whetting process for visas for toxic academia/media. Anti-India hands like Audrey can tour. a #NyTImes Gettleman can pour venom from Delhi. Khalistanis can get OCIs. This is just bare minimum. Turn heat on and see the effects.

@DrSJaishankar I am not saying the govt should pay the crooks. But it needs to use sam-dam-dand-bheda to manage narrative. Right now it is simply clueless about it.
