For the last week leading up to Israel’s second free and fair elections in six months, @washingtonpost has been screaming about Israel’s “illiberalism” & “apartheid.” Here’s The Post today noting that a “historic” level of voting by Israeli Arabs has huge electoral ramifications
Which is to say: for the second time in half a year more Arabs voted in the Jewish state than in most of the Middle East, including the Palestinian Authority & Hamas ruled areas, neither of which allow voting or Jews,& in the latter case, Christians.
But you won’t find articles about that actual type of “apartheid” or “illiberalism.” No four page spreads in the opinion section. In fact @washingtonpost completely ignores Pal politics; they didn’t even file a report when the P.A. head named a new PM last spring.
Doesn’t fit the narrative, I’m afraid.
