The outline of the Brexiteers strategy is at least fairly clear.

I believe Remainers should take note of it, because it gives important clues about how to defeat it.

/1
One vital column of Brexiteer political strategy is to lull the electorate, while probing, testing and trying to extend (through manipulation), the boundaries of acceptable bad governance. You can choose from the many examples of this. It’s a pattern.
/2
The absolute key for those directing this, is to avoid direct confrontation on what is really happening. The MO is deny, deflect, accuse and continue the demolition.

This is because they need legitimacy until they are strong enough to go after their enemies publicly.

/3
The idea is to break with the rule of law, while appearing to be legitimate.

The idea is to accomplish this without a civil war occurring, as if nothing had happened at all.

This is why everything about what is happening seems so surreal.
/4
What this strategy does essentially is play upon the British dislike of confrontation & loss of self-control.

"How could you be so low as to think we were doing that?” The Brexiteers say with sham horror.

In response the British feel ashamed and there’s no flash point

/5
We keep on seeing this repeated over & over again. Red lines keep dissolving & Brexit advances

Strategically, what they're doing is never giving battle
Shifting into the shadows, while systematically destroying everything that enables the British constitution to avoid tyranny
/6
My point is that as we approach the engineered constitutional melt-down, Remain has to stop falling for this be passive tactic.

You need to go from the back foot to the front foot. This means attack, not defend. Be proactive not reactive. Organise to take the fight to them.
/7
Its time to understand that you cannot rely on the BBC, or the police, or HMQ, or Parliament or the CPS or the govt or the rule of law etc to get us all out of this coup.

All those pillars of British life have fallen.

They got their people into position while we slept

/8
The thing to understand is that the Brexiteers in the firing line (politicians) are still quite unsure of themselves. That’s why they keep needing to avoid real life confrontation and stay in the shadow of the interwebs.

This is important.

/9
This weakness means that if Remainers really stand up to them, the Brexit politicos will back down. They can’t risk a fight at this stage. They are relying on the British public being too scared to really come out and take the fight to them.
/10
Time is of the essence here.
If more constitutional dominoes fall and these people get themselves into a more solid position of legitimacy and authority, they will not hesitate to use all the powers at their disposal to “restore law and order”. That will be horrific.
/11
So Remainers have a limited window of opportunity to get their act together. Probably until parliament is prorogued again in the first weeks of October.

/12
It is absolutely #key now, not to limit the fight to the internet. That’s where they have all their strength, in endless targeted disinformation.

There has to be a big switch to real life (peaceful) confrontation with the people who are engineering this coup.

/13
If anything this means that Remain has to adopt a strategy of zero tolerance for any of these limit-testing actions by the Brexiters.

Every one of these Brexit ploys has to be opposed out in real life, not just on the internet.
/14
If an arch Brexiter threatens the safety of a leading Remain activist. Remainers have to go their community & articulately persuade everyone in that community (shops etc) to stop serving or providing these people. "Because we are not that type of country" It’s at that level
/15
Remain communities have to close ranks and stop cooperating with these people.

We have to send our activists in large numbers into the communities on which Brexiters depend and stop the cooperation, so that these Brexiters really feel the effects of what they are doing.
/16
I sincerely hope that every Remainer across the length and breadth of the UK & abroad will get to read this thread. And give serious consideration to what is written here. That can only happen if you RT it.
