2/ Additionally, I think there’s risk in Pelosi’s strategy to drastically narrow the scope of potential articles of impeachment; most Dems KNOW that Trump is deeply, broadly, and fundamentally CROOKED — and KNOW his misdeeds are NOT too nuanced to be included in the Articles.
3/ It’s the feckless, naive, toothless dilly-dallying of House hearings—and their predictable failures to counterpunch Trump’s obstruction, that render Trump’s corruption “too nuanced” for Articles of Impeachment. A terrorized House, failing to exert power, led to a blunted case.
