Interesting to see a variety of #Iran apologists/lobbyists raise their voice in an obvious chorus against the U.S. Treasury Department’s “New Humanitarian Mechanism to Increase Transparency of Permissible Trade Supporting the Iranian People.”
home.treasury.gov/news/press-rel…
Here you can see these Tehran apologists/lobbyists parrot their talking points in quite a chorus:
@tparsi
@jabdi
@DEsfandiary
@yarbatman
@TylerCullis
While they won’t admit it, they’re deeply concerned about the interests of #Iran’s regime.
And here’s their issue with this new initiative:
“This new humanitarian mechanism will help international companies that seek to engage in permissible humanitarian trade with Iran to ensure that they do not run afoul of sanctions,” said Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin.”
More concerns for Iran apologists/lobbyists:
“This framework will provide unprecedented transparency to help ensure that humanitarian goods entering Iran actually reach the Iranian people.”
And of course, @lrozen, a known Iran apologist, of @AlMonitor, a known pro-Iran outlet, rushes to Tehran’s support with a piece against the initiative.
The “experts” cited by Al-Monitor are
- @brianoftoole, an Obama admin official of the @AtlanticCouncil, a known pro-Iran institution.
- @TylerCullis, a known Iran apologist highly RTd by @tparsi, the known & disgraced Iran lobbyist.
Finally, if Iran apologists/lobbyists have a problem with this initiative, rest assured its denying Tehran’s mullahs vital money needed to support their malign activities (terrorism, ballistic missiles…).
Iran apologists/lobbyists care nothing about the Iranian people.
And BTW, be ready for these Iran apologists/lobbyists to say “Heshmat Alavi doesn’t exist.”
Therefore, I’ll leave this here to debunk their claims.
(Enjoy your weekend & thanks for reading!)
