FINALLY! Today the Indivisible book is OUT. It's our guide to building power to impeach, win in 2020, and save democracy after. We draw lessons from the Indivisible movement - from pressuring congress to building coalitions to building waves. Some more reflections in this thread:

We tell three big stories from the movement:
1) The successful defense of the Affordable Care Act
2) The fight against Trump's assaults on immigrant youth
3) The building of the 2018 blue wave

The stories are about how people organized their own power, and we give a behind-the scenes look both at what that looked like on the ground, and what it looked like when it landed in Washington.

But we're not telling stories just the sake of telling stories. We draw out 19 specific "Indivisible lessons" from these stories - because we want this to be a practical guide. Here's the list, and book goes into detail on all them, weaving them into the stories we tell.

We tell stories of the past but the book is largely about the future. How do we build the power to defeat Trump? How do we save democracy after he's gone? We've got a plan. We're 15 months away from this reality, and to make it real we have to build for it now.

.@Leahgreenb and I wrote the book, but our names aren't on the cover. That's intentional. This is not a book for or about us (aside from a couple anecdotes on leading a national organization while married). 100% of our proceeds go to Indivisible's Save Democracy Fund.
