Me : I'm modestly comfortable but then I don't need a lot. Why do you ask?
X : If Corbyn gets in, won't you lose out?
Me : Not at all. But I'd have to pay a fairer share. Isn't that the point, as society benefits we all benefit? It's a society after all.
Me : I think they're marvellous. I'm a member of the Labour party and I'm very proud of what they are trying to do.
X : Do you think Labour will win?
Me : i hope so. I think people want change and this is the only way it will happen.
Me : I care more on what parties have delivered. A decade of austerity, 120k excess deaths, 14M in poverty, record underfunding of police, education and NHS ... talk is cheap, action matters.
Me : Oh, the one nation sort are fine but this isn't that. I don't trust Boris.
X : How about LibDems?
Me : I, along with many others, voted for them once in 2010. It's how we got into this mess with austerity. I don't trust them either.
Me : I thought May tried, she seemed passionate but more to the idea of the UK rather than the people. The UK is nothing without the people which is why words are fine but if your actions leave the people in a worse state ... it's meaningless.
Me : I struggle to think of anyone more passionate about the people and their plight than Corbyn. It's embodied in the spirit of Labour ... for the many not the few. That's true patriotism. It's also impressive how he has stood against the onslaught without budging.
