Conservatives promised to plant 11M trees by 2020. They failed, spectacularly.

Del Boy Boris now promises to plant 30M by 2024.

Scotland just got on with it and planted 22M trees last year -

The Conservatives. All mouth and no trousers.
This time next year Rodders, we'll have a million trees ... the Conservatives seriously need to change their battle bus for a battered yellow robin reliant. At least, they'll be slightly more green than many of their policies ... shall we talk fracking?
Oh, and when it comes to the NHS ... the Conservative policy is nicely summarised in this future political video.

"I told you we could trust him" -
Though former Conservative Prime Minister John Major more succinctly puts it as the NHS will be as "safe as pet hamster with a hungry python" with Boris et al.

X : Why Del Boy Boris?
Me : Boris has a loveable rogue charm but he achieves nothing. All mouth and no trousers. Behind him is a party which has caused incredible harm to society.
X : Corbyn as Citizen Smith?
Me : Lol. That style of socialism died long ago ...
... if you look at Labour policies they're all about investment for future, balancing social needs and greater opportunity. If you want to describe the policies then they're more One Nation Conservative. It has become the home of it whilst other parties have lunged to the right.
If you took these policies back to the 1970s, people would think they're almost Conservative in nature. That's how far polarised our system has become. Labour is the centre ground. It's that balance between investment, social needs, opportunity and putting the country first.
X : What about LibDems?
Me : Austerity? Shades of right wing and far from the centre ground. I don't see a great deal of difference between Conservative, LibDem and Brexit except over a single issue of EU membership and that isn't the cause of foodbanks and under investment.
If you look at voting records then bedroom tax, cuts on disability and welfare benefits, lack of investment, austerity ... was all enabled and voted on by LibDems with the Conservatives. The only difference is on EU membership and that is not what has caused the misery in UK.
I do understand EU membership is important for many - it is to me. But I understand compromise, which is why (as a leaver) I accept putting a final deal to the population which is Labour policy because there are more important things that need to be solved e.g. austerity.
The nightmare is we get a party that either leaves or remains but in either case continues with austerity (despite promises) and fails to invest in the UK in the way it needs to be invested in. I simply don't trust the Conservatives, LibDems or Brexit party to do what is needed.
