The SAME DAY as Trump's call w/ Zelensky.

This shatters the GOP defense that there wasn't a quid pro quo/extortion/bribe, as Ukraine didn't learn of the hold til late August.
#MORE: Laura Cooper, the Deputy Sec. of Defense who was in charge of coordinating the defensive aid to Ukraine in the Pentagon, learned of this shift in the timeline when her staff approached her after reading her publicly released deposition transcript.

#PS: Cooper says she can't be sure there aren't additional revelatory or relevant documents, as she hasn't conducted an exhaustive investigation.

Despite urging by Democrats, the Department of Defense Inspector General has REFUSED to investigate the hold.

Schiff simply cited the IC whistleblower statute.

It's the whistleblower's choice whether to reveal their identity. Testifying would violate their anonymity.

Simply read the statute.

It's black and white.

It's the Whistleblower's choice alone whether to waive their right to anonymity.

Republicans are lying when they claim otherwise.

The R defense today (to the extent there was a defense) was that the two witnesses (Taylor and Kent) were second-hand. They could not report directly on anything Trump said or did. 1/6
But of course, the R defense is irreconcilable with the fact that the WH has refused to allow first-hand witnesses (like Bolton and Mulvaney) to testify. 2/6
Furthermore, there is one person who will be testifying shortly (this coming Wednesday, in another open hearing) who did have numerous conversations with Trump himself about Ukraine. 3/6
