The FBI on Sunday said it was treating the Pensacola naval base shooting like an act of terror — but still wouldn’t come out and call it one.

Rojas was quick to stress that it was how they treat “most active shooter investigations,” suggesting her motive was to “take advantage” of extra resources terrorism probes get.
“I can tell you that we are looking very hard at uncovering his motive and I would ask for patience so we can get this right,” she said, adding that agents were “working tirelessly to discern if any possible ideology may have been a factor in this attack.”
