The irony: they claim that principled Never Trump conservatives & rule of law and democratic norm protecting/supporting Democrats....are "out to get" a guy (Trump) who's pathologically disordered & has decades of criminality...b/c they're "jealous"/"mad" he won the 2016 election.
When Republicans claim everyone else is just mad/jealous Trump won, it's a projective accusation that is essentially an admission/confession: Since that is how THEY would process/react to a similar situation, it therefore MUST also be the only explanation for opposition to Trump
This projective accusation not only exposes the Republicans' overly-simplistic, immature perception/reaction to an extremely complex/serious situation....but it exposes what is at best a moral/ethical blindspot....and what is, at worst, a complete lack of moral/ethical character.
