Defensive?! The problem with Labour's strategy was it was way too offensive. It actually needed to be defensive across dozens of seats when it wasn't at all. The Tories got FPTP disastrously wrong in 2017; Labour did likewise this year.
I don't disagree with much of the rest, if any of it. Albeit: in what kind of 'democracy' does 'perform abysmally' NOT equate to:

- Lying daily

- Dodging interviews and debates

- Hiding in a bloody fridge?
But where I agree with you, @peterjukes, is an effective leader would've exploited all that. Corbyn just didn't. An analogue leader in a digital age - but the problem is, that digital age demands over-simple, overly emotive, constantly false messages.
