I'm still not buying this is 'incredible' in any way.

1. The result matched months of polls. So are we saying every polling organisation was somehow in on this conspiracy?

2. Labour candidates report dreadful, hostile receptions on the doorstep; Labour HQ expected a bad defeat.
3. Britain has an ageing population. Its pensioners always vote in very large numbers. When was this election? Very unusually, December. Do old people like going out in the cold and wet?

So many more of them than usual voted by post instead. Simple.
I'd feel very differently if the polls hadn't predicted a big Tory win (but they did), if Corbyn had a positive rating at any point since late 2017 (but he didn't), or if this election had been in late spring or summer. But it was at the coldest, darkest time of the year.
Johnson's Tories, by way of reminder, were always headed for between 40 and 45% - because of Brexit - and once he became Tory leader, Labour couldn't even hit 35%. And do remind me about Labour's disastrous council, local and European election results too. Another conspiracy?
As for Facebook removing posts about Peter Lilley's company: Facebook has pledged to clamp down on fake news and on completely un-evidenced conspiracy theories. Which is what this is.
People are in mourning; people are struggling to accept what happened; echo chambers gave us a VERY false sense of reality. None of us were targeted with dark FB ads because those who do so know exactly what they're doing. And it keeps working for them.
