It's hard to imagine now, but just a few years ago US media routinely described Soleimani as a key figure in fighting ISIS. Now most of these same outlets are carrying water for Trump, claiming he posed a threat to the US. That's how propaganda works. 
This is actually Amir Ali Hajizadeh, another top IRGC commander who helped in the fight against ISIS. My point stands: Iraq would've been overrun by salafi-jihadists if it weren't for Iran's military. Trump just killed the top general, and corporate media won't admit it.
