The internment of American citizens was done via Executive Order. Within 6 months the military made the entire West Coast a military area. Over 100,000 Americans of Japanese ancestry were moved to assembly centers and then confined in internment camps. archives.gov/historical-doc…

Erdogan may be the peace maker in Iran, Syria and Libya. Something that would give him top cover for the giant chunk of Eastern Mediterranean he just carved out. I have been pointing out this geo political shift because Turkey has links eastward to Afghanistan and China.
Turkey has already outflanked Haftar in Libya, pushed out U.S. forces in Syria and with Russia's help may tamp down proxy conflict in the region. Which is a direct challenge to the Arab dictatorships. We need to talk about that ISIS thing thing tho. publications.atlanticcouncil.org/islamic-state-…

#FDR promoted the idea that the people of the world, in all nations, shared entitlement to four freedoms: that of the freedom of speech and expression, the freedom of worship, the freedom from want and the freedom from fear.
#FDR is arguably one of the most 'successful' #US Presidents. Some would argue that on the basis of his numerous social policies such as 'the New Deal'. Others, however, would argue that his role during the second world war was more prevalent to his success & everlasting legacy.
