Antitrust in big tech is one of the most pressing economic issues congress could be addressing. Monopolies are strangling competition and shaking down market participants with scarcely any consequences at the moment. May congress indeed wield the power that's entrusted with them!
The internet can be and has been such an incredible way for small businesses, in software and otherwise, to reach customers. But the internet of today is increasingly being choked by a handful of players wringing all the money out of everyone else. It ain't right.
