Although the parallels probably aren't what they think, given that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy confirmed that, like the investigations Trump demands of Ukraine, it was all about hurting a political opponent who would soon run for president.

So if the White House wants to complain about previous investigations where Congress alleged obstruction, maybe they should start by meeting the bare minimum threshold of compliance established in those investigations.
