PEOPLE LISTEN:

On February 27th, Italy had 600 people infected with coronavirus.

Today, it has 10,000 cases and the entire country is on lockdown.

That was *11 DAYS AGO.*

Guess how many the US has right now: 600.

THAT is exponential growth. Do the math.

I don't care about the politics of this. I'm worried about my mother who has lung issues. I'm worried about my baby girl who is a month old. I'm worried about all the people who are going to die and we have to make a decision to DEMAND TESTING since that is what slows the virus.

South Korea was able to cut the mortality rate by 80% (compared to China) through aggressive testing which led to early treatment and selective quarantining of infected and of vulnerable people.

We have to do this in the U.S. starting NOW.

To those saying, "We're young and healthy so we will be fine," I want say 2 things:

1. Older people matter as much as you and I know some I love very much.

2. 10-20% of ALL infected end up in the hospital and if we run out of ICU beds and respirators, no, YOU WILL NOT BE FINE.

S Korea has done *50 TIMES* the number of tests the US has, despite having only 1/6th our population.

In the last four days the number of new cases has been DROPPING for the first time (instead of exponential growth).

Aggressive testing seems to work.
