The US military conducted a C-17 mission from Ernesto Cortissoz, Columbia to Soto Cano, Honduras then to Charleston, SC. Repatriated 60 American citizens, including a women's tackle football team: SOUTHCOM
SOUTHCOM is currently conducting 1 x C-130 mission from Soto Cano, Honduras to Charleston SC. Still in progress, scheduled to land at Charleston tonight, 20 Mar 20. 84 American citizens. The remainder of the women's football team and some US Embassy personnel.
US Department of State contracted a plane to bring American citizens home from Morocco. They were stuck in Morocco as a result of COVID-19 travel ban.

My Q to DoD Acquisition Chief: "Joint Chiefs on Feb 1 warned a pandemic was coming, what did you do to begin stockpiling masks, [PPE,] and ventilators at that time, can you take us back to when you started and why there isn't a greater stockpile in the U.S. military right now?"
Ellen Lord: "There is actually a very significant stockpile in the U.S. military... There are I believe 200 ventilators.
Griffin: "I believe it was 2,000 ventilators that you had, did you start buying more ventilators? 2,000 is not going to solve the current crisis?"
Ellen Lord: "I understand. We are working on procuring more ventilators right now."
My Q: But 6-weeks later, Feb. 1st was when the EXORD [execute order] went out, it's hard to understand why this is just beginning right now?

#FDR promoted the idea that the people of the world, in all nations, shared entitlement to four freedoms: that of the freedom of speech and expression, the freedom of worship, the freedom from want and the freedom from fear.
#FDR is arguably one of the most 'successful' #US Presidents. Some would argue that on the basis of his numerous social policies such as 'the New Deal'. Others, however, would argue that his role during the second world war was more prevalent to his success & everlasting legacy.
