2. The US is currently backing well known corrupt politician, Adnan al-Zurfi, to become prime minister amid large scale opposition.

3. al-Zurfi himself is launching a propaganda campaign to appease people and forces opposed to US presence in Iraq. He just tweeted that the Popular Mobilisation Units (PMU or PMF) are “legal” forces. They were bombed few times by Israel and US in past weeks and months.
4. If al-Zurfi fails to become prime mister, the US might launch new bloody adventure in Iraq by instigating a military coup, to be backed by fifth column forces the US has been propping up in the country for many decades, especially after the 2003 invasion & occupation.
5. In the event of a US backed coup, utilising #CoronaVirus emergency measures, Iraq will be plunged into a catastrophic civil war because of the competing forces ranged across the land. Some of these forces are US financed, armed and trained.
