Some glimmer of good news, as the rate of rise appears to be FLATTENING in #NYC.

#Michigan not looking good, and #Florida is BARELY testing.

Overall US death toll is doubling ~every 3 days, BUT I caution that most states are NOT adequately testing *still*.

Fever data strongly suggest that our lockdowns ARE working, but cases/hospitalizations/deaths lag. Incubation period + time to get sick enough for hospital or ICU.
Another glimmer of hope: even as #coronavirus testing ramps UP, the #COVID19 case trajectory is starting to flatten.

Although we still have at least 4-6 weeks of hell to endure, the data show that our sacrifices ARE WORKING.

The #coronavirus is a bioweapon with two components: flu and some sort of engineered payload. Incubation period is a week to ten days. Time to kill is three days. Thirty million people in China are currently quarantined because of this outbreak.
Whether it escaped from a lab or was deliberately released is unclear right now. Anonymous5 says it's highly likely it was aimed at the Hong Kong, North Korea and Taiwanese populations but got out of control.

First of all, asking Dr. Steinbrecher to comment on the consequences of using genetic engineering to suppress a disease vector is a bit like asking the pope about a newly developed form of birth control.

Of COURSE she’ll be against it - for ideological, arbitrary reasons
Plus, Dr. Steinbrecher’s degree is in developmental biology, not #ecology. Her statement about “ecosystem crashes” is absurd, and displays her ignorance in this area
