1/ Folks-I brought this up on @tntradioempire this am, so a little explanation of Trump's sabotage; read thread if interested

2/ First, Trumps exec order (EO) allows small employers to get health plans that don't meet ACA’s essential health benefits requirement.

3/ As a reminder, Essential Health Benefits are the following--and they're called essential for a reason!

4/ Trump's EO also lifts ACA’s prohibition on annual and lifetime limits on any service an employer decides is not essential.
Devastating.

5/ Trump's EO allows bare-bone plans that are only good for young unmarried men w/ NO illnesses, &make $50K+/yr--and will stay that way.

6/ But it will lure young healthy folks to these risky plans, creating 2 pools of ppl-young healthy & everyone else. This drives up premiums

7/ Trump also refused to fund CSRs-cost sharing reductions, a subsidy that fed gov't paid to help lower-income folks afford healthcare.

8/ Obama had set aside $7 BILLION in CSR fund to make copayments and deductibles more affordable for low-income Americans.
Trump refused it.

9/ Trumps refusal of CSRs increases deficit, premiums, and # of uninsured.

BUT! There are STILL good plans at PPACA!
