1. You would think after 14 months of constant attacks that Trump supporters would begin to see the pattern. This entire omnibus bill narrative is nothing but the nevertrump GOP faction using the bill to attack Trump and try to drive a wedge between Trump and his supporters.
2. Think about it. The media is all on the same page. The "conservative establishment" is all on the same page. A lot of big time nevertrumpers voted NO on this bill like Flake, Corker and Sasse.
3. Spending and immigration are items near and dear to Trump's base. Those two items are what is being talked about negatively where this bill is concerned.
4. 2300 pages of spending in 12 different areas and the media and "conservative talking heads" only talk about spending and immigration. Coincidence? Doubtful.
5. Ask yourself why aren't the military increases being talked about? The increase in DHS and ICE? School safety and fix Nics? We just had a month of 24/7 gun debate yet the media can't find the time to report $2billion in security funding for the schools?
6. Why aren't things like the Cloud Act, and other things that would harm the dems being talked about?
7. The enemies of Trump are shaping the narrative and leading people down the the path they have picked out. Since some of these issues are important to many of the base and the base wants to believe the worse, their job is very easy.
8. None of this is to say the bill is a great bill. It is to make you understand that you are being led to a certain conclusion for a certain purpose by the powers that be playing with your emotions.
9. Do you really think an additional $1.6 billion in border funds to build barriers is no big deal? Do you really think that is a bad thing? Do you think that DACA not being included in the bill is a bad thing?
10. If the dems really controlled all the bill, DACA amnesty would have been included and no border security funding. Do you think election security funding and increase in ICE by 10% and DHS by 12% is no big deal?
11. The same people that have been "Trying to GET to YES" for the past 14 months on every Trump agenda item are the same people crying the loudest that this is the worst bill in history.
12. You can be led by your emotions, you can be swayed by the cries of the nevertrumpers, you can by led to the slaughter by the fake media. I'll avoid the Sirens on the rocks. The bill isn't great, hell it isn't even that good but it's in no way the worst bill in history.
13. Stop following for the sweet nothings whispered in your ear by the establishment. This is the same procedure they used with the tax bill, the obamacare repeal, and every other budget and spending bill since Jan 20th, 2017.
14. Understand that the media, the establishment and the nevertrumpers will never come out and tell you, "Hey you know this bill Trump just got passed is the best in the history of the world." Nor will they say, "It's a good bill"
15. They will always and I mean always scream "We are all going to die!!!!" We tend to expect it from the dems. What trips up many is when our Quislings do it. The base believes these rotten establishment people, because they have an R next to their name.
16. Then there are the "true conservatives" like Rand Paul who will never vote for anything because well it's just not perfect and then he can stand on the sidelines and scream "I told you so" without getting his hands dirty.
17. Go ahead play their game if you want. Become demoralized, scream at the sky, stay home because you didn't get everything you wanted. Let THEM shape your thoughts and emotions. I'll sit this one out.
