A lot of folks are curious about where I stand on @RealCandaceO. Here are things I’m watching for:
a) as someone w/ strong support for Israel, I’m hoping Candace will talk about the need to decouple issues of police brutality against US blacks from any anti-Israel stance of BLM.

b) I’m looking to see whether she‘s going to take on the Race & IQ discussion from the point of recognizing the myriad examples of Black genius we drown in as Americans, which would be unlikely under the simple bell curve argument. Not my issue, but one that upsets me greatly.
c) I’m looking to see if she builds kindness & empathy toward those she opposes. Here she’s reached out to me as a Bernie voter with generousity of spirit. But I’d love to see more of such heart & compassion.
These are all things I’ve said to her directly. So I’ll watch & wait.

But what I’m sure of is that Candace is 100% her own person who will become whoever she want to become & has the talent to make a huge impact. So I’d like to be helpful (if that it is going to be positive as I see the world) from across the aisle. A loyal opposition is important.
