It just says, "weights should always be used".

- in Stata, this is your -svyset-
- in SAS, this is your PROC SURVEY ; WEIGHTS = ; CLUSTER = ; STRATA = ; setup
- in R, here's your svydesign
so that researchers could pick and drop this into their analyses.

UCC had opportunity to comment on the #Data.Protection & Privacy Bill. The enactment of this law is long overdue. A comprehensive law on the collection & processing personal information gives effect to the right to Privacy envisaged under Article 27(2) of the Constitution
UCC welcome the protections offered by the Bill in terms of export of data, breach notification requirements, data subjects access rights, automated decision making, compensation and the right to be forgotten and provision for financial and penal sanctions for breach of the law.
Distinction between Data collectors & data controllers.
The Bill should however clarify & distinguish Data Collectors, from Data Processors & Data Controllers. Clause 2 is inconsistent with international good practice which provides for two broad categories of Data Controllers

We welcome this initiative by @NITIAayog, but a call for comments would have been a welcome addition. The paper takes important steps forward from the #AI Task Force report released earlier this year by the DIPP, Ministry of Commerce and Industry (dipp.nic.in/sites/default/…). 2/n
This paper attempts a more holistic look at a broader range of issues concerning AI including #regulation, #ethics, #fairness, #transparency and #accountability. However, a number of issues still remain with this paper. 3/n

#DisclosuresTribunal Tribunal has resumed. Michael McDowell SC, for Sgt McCabe, now asking Callinan about the comments that journalist Philip Boucher Hayes claims Callinan made to him in December 2013 about Sgt McCabe (that he had psychiatric issues, etc)
#DisclosuresTribunal Callinan repeats he had no part in any campaign against St McCabe and repeats: I never gave any direction or instruction to Taylor to brief any journalist or any person in media negatively about Sgt McCabe. That's my position.
#DisclosuresTribunal McDowell now raising a report by RTE's Paul Reynolds in which he reported on Feb 24, 2014 that Callinan had "issued a direction" to Sgt McCabe "to cooperate with the investigation being carried out by the Assistant Commissioner" [John O'Mahony]
