Our shopping list of 2023:

⚛️ Generational: $ATOM
⚛️ Real yield: $KUJI, $SWTH
⚛️ Modularity: $TIA, $DYM
⚛️ Money printers: $EVMOS, $TORI
⚛️ App & consumer chains: $GNOT, $SEI, $ARCH, $NTRN

1/62
Before we dive into the shopping list, let's get two things right from the get go.

First, recap what a shopping list is.

Second, review narratives.

2/62
Our shopping list strategy is based on the idea that every year there are big spikes up and down in the markets, where you don't have time to research individual assets “on the fly”.

If you try, you will most likely miss a buying opportunity.

Instead, have a plan in hand.

0/ @CelestiaOrg's modular #DA layer enables new network designs and makes spinning up rollups easier than ever before

a 🧵 featuring #RollMint, @dymensionXYZ, @Sagaxyz__, @EvmosOrg and @fuellabs_ exploring the modular future 🔮✨

(0/34) 👇
1/ I have talked a lot about modularity and how @CelestiaOrg's modular #DA layer marks the beginning of a new era in blockchain architecture

if you want a summary on that, check my thread below 👇

2/ what I want to show you today, is how these novel architectures that @CelestiaOrg enables could look like, how @CelestiaOrg makes blockchain development easier & more accessible than ever before and how the modular building blocks of the future fit together

So what's the difference between all of these RPC, LCD, gRPC, gRPC-web, gRPC-Gateway, Amino, Protobuf stuff in the @Cosmos SDK?

Heard the guys @gameofnodes_ are wandering too, so here's an explainer 👇
RPC is an HTTP 1.1 server exposed by #Tendermint (on port 25567). It uses HTTP POST + JSON-RPC 2.0 for data encoding. There's also a Websocket service on /websocket (also JSON-RPC 2.0).

The CLI uses RPC to access the chain and in general everything is accessible via RPC.
LCD (Light Client Daemon) is also an HTTP 1.1 server exposed by @Cosmos SDK (on port 1317). It exposes a REST API for the chain, and traditionally every query was reimplemented for LCD and behind the scene routed to RPC.

Updated thread of Meter.io ⚡️

A high-performance blockchain infrastructure that scales & connects the financial Internet

World's first hybrid consensus using $MTR the PoW stablecoin & PoS HotStuff consensus with $MTRG the governance token

#MTRG #MULTICHAIN
2/25

In addition to being a high performant #Layer1 infrastructure Meter can scale other L1 mainnets as a sidechain solution

Meter uses the most advanced deterministic consensus protocol called #HotStuff

@Meta's Libra (formerly FB) is a variant of this consensus

$MTRG #MTRG
3/25

There are multiple #Layer2 solutions currently on the market including Optimistic Rollup, zk Rollups, state channel & side chains

Optimistic Rollup is promising but it is definitely over hyped

Zk based techniques are incompatible with existing smart contracts

🧵 on some of the major smart contract chains, their different approaches, and how HOPEFULLY (for the love of all that is holy) we are moving away from simply "X chain is superior because it did XXXX TPS on a closed environment testnet"
#Ethereum #terraluna #Solana #AVAX
As @epolynya has alluded to several times, #TPS numbers are almost meaningless now. Especially anything under 100k.

At the risk of having this thrown in my face 5 years from now, TPS is essentially solved.
This is due to many things but some reasons include:

- #modular designs (@CelestiaOrg, #ETH + #rollups, and @avalancheavax to an extent)
- Rollups, in general, and how they can somewhat "defeat" the #ScalabilityTrilemma
- @IOHK_Charles & his giga brain (ok maybe not this 😉)

This sharing focuses on the introductory research, mainly on the technical framework, and supplemented by ecological development. Thread is a bit long and there is no financial advice in the whole context. Please read it thoroughly. Image
1/18 #Cosmos Ecosystem is far more prosperous and diverse than most people think. Cosmos is not just an Atom chain. The #BSC #Terra #Oasis you know well belongs to the Cosmos Ecosystem. The total market value in the ecosystem has even reached 138B. What kind of magic power is it? Image
2/18 This is a great definition of #Cosmos, and the prominent part is its core ecological characteristics. A little flustered to see a series of professional terms? Don't worry. Let's explain it one by one. Image

The 3 core pillars of #COSMOS that you need to understand.

⚛️ Tendermint BFT
⚛️ Cosmos SDK
⚛️ IBC

$ATOM #blockchain #crosschain #data
2/8

⚛️ What is Tendermint?

#Tendermint BFT is a solution that packages the networking and consensus layers of a #blockchain into a generic engine, allowing developers to focus on application development as opposed to the complex underlying #protocol.
3/8

As a result, Tendermint saves hundreds of hours of development time. Note that Tendermint also designates the name of the byzantine fault tolerant (BFT)consensus algorithm used within the Tendermint BFT engine.

I am such an ethhead but I've spent this weekend exploring #DeFi outside #Ethereum. I was pretty much blown away. If you don't look elsewhere, you are likely missing out, so let me give you a rundown from a power user perspective (so not as a developer etc).
First, I tried the @terra_money ecosystem. They have a protocol coin, $LUNA, that's also like $MKR, underpinning their stablecoins, $UST, $KRT, etc. These stablecoins are actually kinda large now and good at maintaining parity. Not so interesting, right? Wrong.
The game-changer here is @mirror_protocol, which is basically a Synthetix on Terra, using $UST. It works beautifully and it's _almost_ there. You can buy synthetic shares (MSTF, AAPL, etc) and commodities with almost no fee and good slippage. The issue is that there is a premium
