John Pritchett who recently exited the Star Citizen project, appears to have posted his Glassdoor review. He was there since 2013.

ICYMI, my latest article on the fiasco.

For those of you who missed the "appears to have" in my Tweet, that's why you failed reading comprehension in school.

TIP: Glassdoor reviews can be fake. And unless JP comes out and takes credit for it, take it with a pinch of salt.
JP's official FB post. I think it's pure bs.

Yeah, bottom line is, CIG needed to bring IFCS in house, and I wasn't able to relocate to either LA or UK to continue to manage that system. I've handed it over to David Colson in the UK who will now carry on with this work."
He worked remotely since 2013.

He was one of 2 people (Colson who only joined in May 2017) working on that system.

AtV Nov 2017:

His work on the IFCS (aka flight dynamics) encompassed both flight and general physics.

IFCS has been completely farked for years because they tried to shoehorn a high fidelity engine into the likes of CryEngine - then tried to shoehorn THAT into LumberYard. Hilarity ensued.
All they needed was a basic model that just worked; and it's not rocket science if you've written a flight model before. I've written several.

But whatever the hell Chris wanted, meant that they were NEVER going to achieve it.

Some backers hate IFCS, others don't care enough.
That they need a "team" to continue working on a model that's FIVE YEARS IN DEV, says more about failure and incompetence, than it does about progress.

So I bet this was CIG way of firing him by using the "we're building a team for IFCS" excuse.
Just the other day, Chris went on a stream and claimed that 500 people were working on the projects. This despite the fact his OWN people know it to be FALSE.

Their jobs page is like a revolving door of attrition.

Not that I want to continue drawing unwanted attention to him, but as I posted earlier in this thread, JP has (on Facebook) now publicly denied authoring the Glassdoor post. And I believe him.

No, I am not going to link to his post. Below is my response.
I have written MANY times in the past, that at the end of the day, it's Chris and his execs who are to blame for the demise of the Star Citizen project; not the guys like JP and others who were sold a bill of goods in the beginning, and which kept changing with every whim.
Chris Roberts is a living, breathing, fraud and scam artist who has literally squandered almost $200M from backers under the guise of making two games - neither of which is ANYWHERE close to release SIX years later.

But now that the Feds are on it, a reckoning is coming.
He basically created a system whereby his friends and family profited from money given to him by gullible backers to build these games. And through various tricks, has ended up extracting a great deal of wealth from the project, thus leading to unjust enrichment.
My final response about the JP issue, and why I tend not to even talk about devs leaving the project any more.
