It will take decades to repair the damage, particularly if we don't find ways to unseat the fascist judges being poured into our judicial system, who will declare all attempts to fix things to be constitutional.

When you see Dems continuing to be polite, and continuing to act as if these are normal times, that's why. They're clutching to whatever pieces of American governance still remain.

I want a sane conversation--do we continue to support the (admittedly flawed) institutions of American governance, or do we assist the Fascist Party in tearing them down, with the hope of replacing them with something better?

Note that my thread above didn't deal directly with LGBTQ rights, gerrymandering, destruction of unions, dismantling of NATO, the Paris Accords, Iran nukes, or any of the thousands of other matters which must be repaired, replaced or re-imagined once the Fascist Party is gone.
