Let's be clear: In Helsinki Trump showed us who & what he is. Yes, he backpedaled with his would/wouldn't charade. But then we learn he discussed w/Putin serving up Ambassador @mcfaul & @Billbrowder to the Russians based on trumped-up charges. This is outrageous... 1/3
A refusal to defend our citizens, indeed a former US ambassador, and a heroic man like @Billbrowder matches the largely-missed betrayal hidden in what Trump scratched out in his prepared walkback: a sentence about bringing the Russians to justice who hacked our elections. 2/3
Make no mistake: We are only at the beginning of learning the depth of Trump's betrayal of our nation. 3/3

In the morning, it’s back to lying about Putin, Helsinki & the summit which no one can “remember” because you met privately & emerged a slavish shamble of a man siding with Russia over America.
This behavior is not normal. This is sick & dangerous & a flashing alarm that you should be removed from office.
We can explain away Trump’s madness by the coming threat of Mueller’s probe & more indictments, the Michael Cohen tapes & the threat of his flipping, Manafort’s trial & the fear of his flipping...etc, etc...but Trump’s tantrums are getting worse & should not be tolerated.
