Six Republican Senators are heading to Russia for friendly meetings on America’s Independence Day.

This after Russia violated our elections & experts say it could happen again.

This while Donald Trump is under criminal investigation for collusion with this foreign adversary.
"A lot of us believe it is important to have a better relationship with Russia," said Alabama Sen Richard Shelby, reported in TASS. "And obviously, that is the current thought of President Trump."

Who else joined Shelby in Russia? Sens. Kennedy, Hoeven, Thune, Moran & Daines,
This is the thing: Even if we imagined for a moment these GOP senators were going to Moscow for innocent reasons—they just want to improve relations for the good of the world!—they would be more sensitive to the awful optics. Now these Trump-era people just don’t give a damn.

In the morning, it’s back to lying about Putin, Helsinki & the summit which no one can “remember” because you met privately & emerged a slavish shamble of a man siding with Russia over America.
This behavior is not normal. This is sick & dangerous & a flashing alarm that you should be removed from office.
We can explain away Trump’s madness by the coming threat of Mueller’s probe & more indictments, the Michael Cohen tapes & the threat of his flipping, Manafort’s trial & the fear of his flipping...etc, etc...but Trump’s tantrums are getting worse & should not be tolerated.

Let's be clear: In Helsinki Trump showed us who & what he is. Yes, he backpedaled with his would/wouldn't charade. But then we learn he discussed w/Putin serving up Ambassador @mcfaul & @Billbrowder to the Russians based on trumped-up charges. This is outrageous... 1/3
