We understand the toll the deliberate impoverishment of the masses may have taken on those who carry guns. The leadership of SARS/Police Are no enemies. The campaign never said everyone is evil. We are simply demanding that they become accountable. Do we celebrate their crimes?
If 8 of 10 encounters across Nigeria shows Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Extortion, Abuse Of Human Rights, intimidation and outright high handedness in your opinion we should focus on the 2 cases of the parade of innocent citizens as armed robbers? 🤔
People should understand that a lot of hard work is at play here beyond Socialmedia to help Police hierarchy get the true picture and spread the enlightenment to their men who really may have lost their ways. This is not benchmark and best practices. This is anarchy on steroids.
Where in the world will citizens applaud a police system when men armed by the state march citizens to the ATM machine to rob them of their hard earned funds? Where exactly do sane people celebrate a police structure where @PoliceNG_PCRRU openly defend armed robbery/kidnapping?🤔
Police certainly have great men and patriots working tirelessly to make a Nigeria great. All the cases we announce here as solved with collaboration with good heads in the police. It is indeed true that our comments atinrs demoralizes these good ones but here is what I think...
A good cop won’t keep quiet when he sees the evil of his colleagues knowing fully well that the police is a Service in a democracy and not a force. The blowback of their crimes will affect everyone. You will lose trust and no one will celebrate your efforts. This is a fact.
When you begin to lose the trust of the people, your work becomes 100times more difficult. The main issue is with the current structure of the police and the issue with administration. If we solve this we can always fix the internal issues. It is a leadership/legislative matter.
Police is not a Cult organization and fighting everyone with a complaint belligerently will be counterproductive. It begins with accepting liability (vicarious) and promising to do better. This way others will be willing to hear you out. Not demonizing people as part of the issue
The Police can neither reform themselves nor fix their own problems. They were not designed to do so as regimented. It will take the collective action of the people (political will) to make this happen. This is what this is about. It is not weaponized against the Police.
#EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG is a welcome development and it has come to stay until the demands are met to the letter. There won’t be any compromises. There was an emergency security summit yesterday & all the 36Commissioners Of Police agreed on the need for Security Sector Reform.
Regardless of the semantics, they agree on our EndGoal #ReformPoliceNG and will be careful about #EndSARS objective for the fear of the unknown. We will continue to enlighten them. We will not accept burying daily our under 30s because of the need for some to keep SARS.
There are many issues I won’t put out here. The Area Commanders, AIGs, Commissioner of police across states know what lies beneath and we will reach a conclusion soonest that will favor all. If this fails under this admin, it will cost the admin the election no doubt.
There are no sentiments. The Nigeria Police MuST be salvaged and restructured for better. #EndSARS need not be defined as negative. It should mean the end of Impunity and impoverishment of gun wielding police officers. It should mean the end of Armed Robbery by Police. 
The SARS connotation is negative anywhere in Nigeria and we need to expunge it from our registers and bring back a better program that reflect the #NewNigeria and the Nigeria of our Dreams where Police work will be the most prestigious for intelligent minds not a dumping ground.
