Have been feeling really burned out on the whole SaaS "industry" lately.

Not the product and team side (still having a ton of fun in that regard), but the whole growth/marketing/sales side.

It's never ending and it's exhausting.
So much is wrapped up in "did X grow over Y timeframe", where if the answer is "no" then it feels like some sort of failure.

I haven't written much on the blog in months because, frankly, I don't care too. It feels like it feeds that very mentality that is exhausting me.
I love building new products. I love building our team. I love figuring out how we can be more efficient with both of those things.

But I don't love feeling like I'm constantly climbing a mountain or that there's even some sort of pinnacle to reach at all.
No idea what to do with that. I've already taken time off recently and had hoped I'd come back with some renewed growth/marketing/sales gusto...but I got nothing. 10+ years of trying to get people to use various tools and focusing on all those "growth metrics" has my brain fried.
Really, as I'm typing all this out what it sounds like is I just need to hire a "growth" person to take all of that off my plate.

Alas, we need to grow a bit more to afford that. 📈🚀💥😛😭
