(2) As Q logic goes, the military knew a nuke was being loaded and let the “perpetrator” get within 5 minutes of detonation. Damn we must actually live like the TV show “24.” Seriously, people believe anyone in their right mind would say “Eh, f*ck it, we can stop this...”
(3) “...Why not let them get the nuke in the air and blow multiple layers of protective redundancy. Why not place our entire chance of stopping this in one basket. It’s worth having but one shot. And if we fail at the one shot we allowed ourselves, millions die...”
