The press (Duranty, Rather et al) thinks it can lecture us on morality and that we somehow have to swallow it. Hahaha no, that's not how this works at all.
There are some members of the press who try to present the actual news. That number is small and it does not appear to be growing.
It's one thing to make mistakes, but quite another to willfully misrepresent issues, or simply ignore them because of your ideology.
As someone once said, it's now only how the media "reports" on something, but how they choose NOT to report on some things.
What is the media's response when another fabulist gets exposed? Do they say "We must do better and we will clean up our occupation"? Uh no. They usually get self-righteous that anyone dares to question or criticize them.

And talk about thin-skinned. Some joker makes a GIF that pokes fun at CNN and they threaten to dox him. The former Pravda editors said "Whoa, that's too far."
I wouldn't even mind that they routinely misrepresent issues, leave out facts and/or simply fabricate things. Kind of funny to poke fun at the Gaza bridge people, right?
But then they see fit to wax condescending to "the little people". Because they are God's Chosen Profession or something.
Hey, I hear that the new Cracker Jack's box will have a J-school degree in it as the toy. Of course, that devalues the entire box, so they'll have to lower their prices.
