OK, we're fully into a news cycle, so time to re-up the @onthemedia guidelines, which I myself have been guilty of not following. We've got five reported IEDs so far, some awaiting confirmation, all awaiting more information. 
Reported suspicious or confirmed IED packages so far:

Reuters initially confirmed the CNN report of a package sent to the White House, but is now reporting that no package was addressed to the White House. CNN is now acknowledging Reuters report without expanding on it.
Fox now also refuting the claim that a package was sent to the White House.
While we wait for more info, I deleted an earlier tweet repeating the CNN report which is now in question, but I'll keep the tweet in this thread in place while we await additional clarity and to reflect how information is flowing here.

With the early reports caveat, but if true, this is a significant data point for investigators

CNN reporting from one anonymous LE source that the Wasserman-Schultz package was addressed to Eric Holder, but was undeliverable and was returned to her address. Seems odd that the timing on this would work out. Waiting for more sourcing.
By timing, I mean it would take additional time to attempt delivery to Holder and then return to DWS, so if true, it seems odd that the return would arrive at the same time as the properly addressed packages. I guess it's possible, but it's an odd detail.
CNN now also reporting, FWIW, that the Soros package was physically dropped at the location and not sent through the mail. This is another odd detail waiting for further confirmation.
NYPD presser starting now. Device appeared to be a live explosive, has been removed for investigation. Also included envelope of white powder, which is being investigated.
Worth noting that there have been a number of white powder hoaxes in recent weeks.
DeBlasio: No other specific, credible threats to other locations in NYC at this time, but increased police presence at media and other locations as a precaution.
May be heightened scrutiny at this point, stay tuned

"Nexus to terrorism" here means ISIS or AQ connection, translated from governmentese
As several people have now pointed out, the image of the device released by CNN appears to show an ISIS flag, although there's other stuff visible but less discernible next to it, and there are a whole lot of reasons not to jump to conclusions about what it might mean.
Not necessarily an accurate version of the flag though.
