@stonewalluk response is a huge let down. One point out of 69 is on children's GIDS. It focuses on need for training at CAHMS, not even questioning why trans children have to go anywhere near CAHMS (CAHMS doesn't even want to see trans children) @ruth_hunt

Yet again a @stonewalluk submission supposed to represent all LGBT people fails trans children. The word children appears twice in a long submission - one of which refers to the children of LGBT parents. There is not one reference to trans children. #Erasure #SupportTransKids
@LGBTfdn LGBT Foundation. Not one use of the word children in their submission. In section on trans health, it only refers to an LGBT Foundation report. This includes nothing on children in the section on gender healthcare, and nothing on healthcare in the section on children

Good - submission from Notts Trans Hub recognises trans children
@Clini_Q recognises the dangers of reparative therapy to 'children suffering with gender dysphoria' and the harm caused by GIDS practitioners who do not support trans kids. Thank you for speaking up!
There are 60 submissions listed in total. 5 contain one or two brief references to trans children's healthcare. GIRES and Mermaids are the only to focus in any detail. There is one from a trans adult that considers trans children's healthcare.
Then there are 12 submissions from parents of trans children (these are just the submissions that were made public - others were asked to be kept confidential). Parents of trans kids are at a point of despair. Why is no one standing up for us?
The only organisational submissions properly standing up for trans kids are @GIRESUK & @Mermaids_Gender, orgs led by parents of trans kids. Where are the trans-led organisations? Where are the LGBT organisations? Where is the solidarity? Who gives a damn about trans kids? END
