Uh... did the President of the United States just *threaten America with civil war* if federal prosecutors refer him for impeachment because they have proof beyond a reasonable doubt he committed high crimes and misdemeanors, the standard set by a constitution he swore to uphold?
/ If you doubt for a moment what he meant by those words, remember him saying that supporters of the Second Amendment would be able to—because of their guns—"do something about Clinton" if she were to be elected instead of him. He is a dangerous mobster and not a scintilla more.
/ Not saying it's relevant, just saying that everyone in America should know exactly what it prohibits: law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18…
/ The second Trump leaves office, he's almost certain to be indicted on multiple federal felonies. That's a very powerful incentive for Trump to refuse to leave office if he's impeached and convicted of high crimes and misdemeanors or makes it to 2020 and loses a close election.
/ Or, instead of plotting to refuse to leave office, he could *repeatedly float the idea of traitors staging an armed rebellion against America* if he's subjected to our rule of law like any other man would be. That's not seditious conspiracy; it ain't a bucket of roses, either.
/ Ask yourself—if you're a Trump apologist who doubts that he meant "[armed] revolt"—what exactly did he mean, then? If he's convicted and removed from office by 67 or more US senators, what *legal* form of "revolt" could reverse that constitutional process? Name one. I'll wait.
