The notion that Trump did not actually want to become president is a baseless lie predicated on Joe Scarborough's misguided conjecture. Trump spent $66 million on his campaign, accepted help from Russians/Kremlin, orchestrated payments to mistresses and campaigned aggressively.
Scarborough suggested Trump ran for potus only to secure business dealings, not bc he wanted to become potus; that's bull, considering how much effort he put into it. Becoming potus helps him grow his brand recognition & gives him biz negotiation leverage
Trump used his campaign to cash in. I'm not arguing otherwise. Scarborough suggested Trump never wanted to win, that he merely wanted to use a national campaign to line his pockets. Someone who didn't want to win wouldn't have violated so many laws to win
