Former Obama White House Counsel's firm agrees to pay $4.6 million to DOJ & register as a foreign agent to settle charges it was illegally acting as an agent of Putin's allies in Ukraine & influencing the Obama Admin & Congress. #ButNothingsHappening
The lead partner not named in the announcement is #GregCraig former Clinton lawyer & Obama White House Counsel. It appears the firm has been able to throw him under the bus for his misconduct to escape prosecution. 
The firm represented the govt of Ukraine in efforts to justify it's prosecution or persecution of anti-Putin politician Yulia Tymoshenko. Falsely identifying the amount they would bill Ukraine to corruption conceal the real parameters of the deal. $12k versus $4.6 million.
That lead partner, Greg Craig is in a lot of trouble, & they have the evidence to prove it. Craig was forced to resign from the firm because he was questioned by Robert Mueller about his work with Manafort to influence the Obama Administration. #ButNothingsHappening!
Seems Skaaden Arps failing to register as a foreign agent allowed them to conceal the amount of payments & that the money was laundered through Cypriot bank accounts controlled by Paul Manafort.
The DOJ FARA unit pinged Skadden Arps only 5 days after the report was published to question it's status as a foreign agent. Craig lied to the firm, leading to the firm filing false & misleading statements with the DOJ. They also submitted false documents as evidence. Felonies...
The Obama DOJ decided to believe the false & misleading documents & statements allowing Skadden Arps, one of the largest firms on Wall Street to avoid FARA registration that was required. Can't wait to read the agreement & evidence documents!

Essentially the law firm & the FARA unit at DOJ are agreeing that illegal conduct by Clinton/Obama attorney Greg Craig caused both to believe that no FARA registration was necessary when it was. Craig's misconduct was identified by Mueller & referred to prosecutors by Rosenstein.
The firm is getting off lightly with a $4.6 million settlement due to their extensive cooperation with Special Counsel Mueller & the DOJ National Security Division!
It was announced on 4/24/18 that Greg Craig had been forced to leave his law firm due to Mueller's investigation. Partner #1 is the DC based attorney as referenced in the appendix left on 4/13/18. It's when I first knew for certain Mueller was a white hat. nbcnews.com/politics/donal…
Craig allegedly lied to the firm to deny that Business Person-1 would be paying for the report. I'm sure someone knows who that is but I'm not certain off the top of my head.
