The UK parliament looks to have lost its moral backbone.
Power is clung on to like a precious ring, and at any cost.
Bungs are pocketed, impropriety is rife even corruption passes unnoted.
How did it come to this?

We are a Nation that has been consciously divided.

While elites polarize opinion alonge tribal lines they can guarantee support despite misdemeanors that would not pass the scrutiny of a united populace or parliament.

Whatever the final result come 29/03/2019 the division will remain and will be used for political/personal/financial advantage for years to come.
Sadly I don't see how the country will ever be whole again any time in the near future and beyond.
Here is why....

Leave with May's deal:
Probably the best option for reunification of UK tribes after the event.
Not popular, and has little opportunity for financial or political exploitation, so this is the least likely result.

Leave with no deal:
Large parts of the population will suffer for a number of years and become more polarized against the decision, while those who supported it will become more entrenched.
Has a huge potential for financial exploitation, Less so political, so quite likely.

Don't leave:
This would cause #leave to become even more entrenched, #Remain would entrench, and this will ensure the country remains divided for years to come.
Has less opportunity for financial exploitation but massive potential for political exploitation, so likely.

I didn't mention a #PeoplesVote
This would be immensely divisive but is really only a short term action that is not a political necessity as the divisions are already in place.
Threat of a #PeoplesVote maintains the status quo for now.
So I think it's unlikely.

And now come rumours of a General Election.

The tree of separation just grew four new more branches.
