1. Does the story that AMI wanted @JeffBezos to issue some statement that AMI's motives were not political make any sense? IMO it may just be the wrapper on a propaganda weapon. When @JeffBezos disclosed AMI extortion attempt story he clearly disrupted the plan. But what plan?

2. @msnbc reported Bezos' expert says it could be a govt intercept. If not based on solid facts Bezos' expert may be biting on anti-NSA & FBI Russian propaganda. He should check his source. Trump's Russia intercepts are coming. SVR & GRU can easily hack unsecured Bezos' devices.

3. If Bezos' expert is not careful Bezos becomes a propaganda vector against us. Russia is intent on discrediting the @FBIWFO who are our last line of defense. Reporters all need to understand how propaganda works. Once the media begins to catch on, this will stop.

4. Solid journalism is the best defense. Don't report rumors. And start from the assumption the NSA and FBI are on our side. When a story makes no sense ask yourself if there is a part of the story that you might not notice getting into the wild causing havoc. @maddow @Lawrence
