@mmfa 2. According to Logan, per this interview she gave written up by Breitbart, she “made one comment about Benghazi” in a speech and thus “was targeted” by @mmfa. Nope! Her problem was what she did on 60 Minutes on Oct. 28, 2013. (Note that she isn’t above a motive-based smear.)
@mmfa 3. This was a year after the Benghazi attack. Fox News and Republican members of Congress were still trying to use it as a cudgel to attack the Obama administration, but the rest of the press was skeptical, as they should have been. Then Logan’s report dropped.

Dan Bongino's absurd comment came during a Fox & Friends interview around 630 am that was reaired at the tops of the 7 and 8 am hours. Also, Trump added the word "illegal" to the quote.

Left, Fox & Friends, 8:00 am
Right, Trump, 8:29 am
Apparently the national emergency is not keeping the president from having ample time to watch his shows.
Because the Bongino quote was aired three times before the tweet, I’d need him to tweet something else identifiable in order to figure out what the “great analysis” was about.

Don't really think it's worth it to dunk on that dumb tweet but if you were paying attention from 2007-2016 you know that saying that you and your policies are not socialist has literally no impact on whether your political enemies claim the opposite.
Going further, my sense is that the right spent a long time characterizing big-government liberalism as "socialism" because they thought it was a good political tactic, and now the left has also started doing that.
The definition of "socialism" is pretty vague in U.S. political discourse! There are no prominent political figures calling for, say, elimination of private property and government control of the entire economy, which is what critics tend to be hinting at.

#Trump's last campaign rally of the 2018 mid-term election season is scheduled to start in about ten minutes. It's his THIRD rally of the day. Dude is likely exhausted and I doubt this rally will be less "speech" and more "incoherent tirade".
