We are not trying to overturn the result but update it.

We want to update it in light of the illegality and corrupt practices found to have marred the previous vote.

We are standing up for the integrity of our democracy. We cannot uphold this result, won by significant breaches. The process was undemocratic therefore the result cannot possibly be the real will of the people.

If you can just dismiss some of the most widespread and ranging illegalities our electoral system has seen then how much do you really care about the integrity of democracy? A democracy that is not protected and governed by the rule of law is not a democracy.

The vote for brexit was not free and fair. This is the truth of the matter and you need o wake up to this.

What does it do to allow a result procured illegally stand? If we leave a broken window unfixed?
It invites others to shatter the standards we hold our democracy to.
