We have to discuss polls again. Polling lies. Poling methods. Note this image taken from today's Drudge Report.

In case you can't read what I circled in blue, it says:

POLL: PRESIDENT APPROVAL 39%...

Interesting. It almost sounds scientific. Our ability to convert effort into action is down to a mere 39% of what it should be...or some silly thing like that. Science. Statistics. The truth. We know this. It may change tomorrow, but for today, this is the TRUTH. We're told.

Here's the funny thing. They hide their deceit in plain site. You can easily find it if you look. They publish their methods, and here is a screen shot of what those look like.

Oh my. There is so much to analyze. So many, many, many things done wrong. Tilted. Dishonest. Misleading. Corrupt.

Okay, so what's the on single thing that stands out? Check this out!!

* 249 Republicans
* 350 Democrats
* 394 Independents
* 107 Non-voters

Let's begin with the least egregious failure of this poll. 107 Non-voters. What possible reason do we care? What possible leaning might they have? Perhaps, they might lean against a Law and Order President? Hmm. And that's the smallest problem. It's only 10%.

Does America really break out into 249 + 350 declared party member, 599 against 394 independents? If so, then America is 65% Independent. Please, think that through. Can you buy that? 65% undeclared? You have to be kidding. Or lying hellaciously. Think about it. 65%. Hmm.

Please remember, we haven't (and won't) analyze the way the questions are asked or what tilt is being propagated, by whom, for what reasons. But now we get down to it. Look at 249 vs 350. 41.5% vs 58.5%. What possible model generates that estimate of America?

Go slowly. 48.5% of declared party members in America are Republican. 58.5% are Democrat. Uh huh. Sure. Can you say liar? Liar, liar pants on fire, liar? Liars. Damned liars. Statisticians. Hell I have no idea what the real numbers are. I know they aren't these.

I won't discuss their 3% claimed margin for error. It insults my intelligence. The correct margin for error is 100%. Every damned thing reported in this poll is a lie. 100% wrong. Please remember that next time, okay?
