First time on trail I've seen the narrative that Warren is the ideas candidate: Some #SheThePeople2020 cheering broke out as soon as she said "and I have a plan."
Sanders and Warren spoke back to back, and the contrast was as clear as I've seen it. Sanders did well, deploying pieces of his stump speech; Warren is going through stories and examples of how her policies would work/be paid for.
Warren now getting a very friendly question from a Native American about tribal sovereignty. One long tail of the DNA story, which has badly hurt Warren, is that she probably knows the most about this issue of any candidate.
Some of the biggest applause of the day when Warren jokes about struggling to convince official Washington about the roots of the financial crisis: "When your ears are stuffed with money, you can't hear very well."
Warren having some fun with a question about whether women are too rattled by 2016 to back a female nominee again. "Are we going to show up for people we don't actually believe in because we're too afraid to do anything else? That's not who we are."
Warren's long "electability" answer is a pivot to her story about watching her mother go back to work to save the family's home. Some audible sniffling, some people wiping away tears.
It's always interesting to watch this. Warren doesn't take on the Q with data about how a woman can win; she unloads her rhetorical A-bomb, and the crowd thinks about her as the nominee.
