It's been a while since I've posted images of Tibetan foxes on Twitter.
If you need a laugh or want to learn more about this majestic (?) creature, this thread is made for you
The Tibetan fox (let's call him Bob for short) is endemic to Tibet, Nepal, northeast India and Bhutan.
He lives up to altitudes of 5300 m (no wonder why he looks high) (sorry) (not sorry)
Bob is described as 'small and compact' by Wikipedia. Like a phone or a battery charger. But with fur.
It usually weighs no more than 5.5 kg and measures up to 70 centimeters (tail not included).
The shape of its skull is the most specialised among foxes in terms of carnivory. Its canine teeth are said to be much longer than those of hill foxes, so don't trust that poker face (Bob's watching you)
Not convinced that Bob can be as dangerous as it is derpy? What if that told you that this bloodthirsty monster primarily feeds on defenseless Plateau pikas, aka cutesy fluff-balls? What do you say now?
Bob can also team up with bears to hunt the pikas. The bear digs up the small rodents, and Bob will catch them if they try escape.
Once Bob has found a mate, they remain together and may even hunt together. Bobette's gestation period is about two month long and she gives birth to a litter of 2 to 4 pups. With derpy faces.
I hope you enjoyed this short thread and wish you a happy day!
