1. Trump may be planting reports about seeking to go after his political foes as a defensive measure. Were Barr to go totally rogue he could cause some real problems for people who have stood up to Trump especially political foes. But the claims raised are nonsensical.
2. But Trump faces serious crimes both state and federal than could carry long term prison sentences. His motive may be to get everyone to say how bad it is to go after politicians after they leave office knowing that is what he has in store for him and his kids.
3. If he resigns soon we should give him a path to stay out of jail. If he creates anymore strife in this country or abroad to cover his crimes, nothing should stand in the way of Trump being charged, tried and held to serve the maximum including forfeiture of his assets.
4. This is the best time for him to seek a deal. Soon his tax liabilities, state and federal, will hit and all his assets will be hit by tax liens. Then it becomes hard to fix. Go home Donald. Give us our country back. @WhiteHouse @IvankaTrump @FLOTUS @DonaldJTrumpJr @EricTrump

1. IMO among all the groups in Syria and Iraq, the Iranians are not the worst. Turkey's allies are worse. IMO.

I remember when Iran was our ally. My cousins were born there. I don't consider the Iranian people my enemy. I despise their government. I think many of them do too.
2. IMO the current Iranian regime are counter-revolutionaries Ayatollah Khomeini was anti-Imperialist. The current regime seeks to expand an empire.

There's no need to fight Iran. It will be destroyed from within. If we do put a combat force in the region, put it in #Rojava .
3. Don't fight Iran in Iraq. Fight it in Syria but start by replacing it in northern Aleppo guarding the #Kurds who were ethnically cleansed from Afrin by Turkey. I not sure @WHNSC @AmbJohnBolton grasp the complexity.

Ouch! Congress orally moved for Summary Judgement. Could be a wrap for Trump. Mazars is filing submitting something in secret.😬
3. I'm watching for an order abt 5/19/2019 that will likely order the Trump accounting files turned over. Then Trump will seek a stay, first at the DC Court of Appeals and, if denied, at SCOTUS. If SCOTUS grants it, a hearing could be in early June. Trump better start packing.

Everywhere you look there is a 18 USC 1505 obstruction of Congress violation. Barr did it too.
The Courts will order all the attorneys to testify on the crime fraud exception. 100%. We are 30 days from Trump fleeing to Argentina. 😎
.@harrylitman on @MSNBC is right. @HouseJudiciary Dems need to tee up the crime-fraud issue in the DC ASAP. Judge Sullivan thinks it's treason. Maybe try to put it in front of him. Let the courts take more power. Judges love that.

The question we ask is quite simple: were the retaliation measures triggered by China, the #EU, and the #NAFTA against Trump's tariffs politically targeted? We study the trade escalation triggered by US steel tariffs and various #Section301 #tariffs.
Interestingly, this is the first trade dispute in a long time that actually escalated to that level. The last case that came close was also the case of steel tariffs in the early 2000s -- but then retaliation measures, while being threatened, were never triggered as US caved in.
