A note for the lazy (or ignorant) American media:
Saudi Arabia was attacked by Iran, and Saudis continue to discuss different ways or methods to respond to Iranian aggression that threatens their stability & livelihood. That does not mean Saudi Arabia wants war with Iran.
U.S media cherrypicks Saudi opinions & headlines to suit their so called“Bolton - Netanyahu - MBS axis” narrative that is allegedly “pushing Trump to war” as if Iran’s aggression is just something that doesn’t exist.
Yes there is a limited space for public policy discussion, but that space exists. I’ve read tens of articles arguing for peace with Iran & some that suggest KSA should respond. And yet the headlines in US media ends up: SAUDI ARABIA WANTS WAR

Kuwaiti cleric on US treasury blacklist for funding terrorism shares an interesting story:
“My friends in Qatar excuse my candor, but when I came to Doha I was amazed at the millions of dollars spent on (often radical) preachers and sheikhs.”
He was referring to a controversial interview a few days ago with cleric Ayed Al Garni, who “apologized” to the Saudi people for preaching extremism & revealed Qatar has sought to recruit many extreme clerics within Saudi in order to form an “opposition”.
Al Garni claims he didn’t take any money from Qatar but says many others did, after the boycott of Qatar by Saudi & allies, these clerics were forced to abandon their lucrative (Qatari funded) business of spreading hatred & extremism.

1/3 @JZarif’s last ditch attempt to hold on to any communication w/ U.S with a “prisoner exchange” is a non starter.
Iranians imprisoned in US have committed serious financial crimes & had due process.
Americans imprisoned in Iran are held on sham charges - they are hostages.
2/3 American hostages in Iran include a former UNICEF official, a Princeton scholar, a US Navy veteran, and a former FBI agent.
@JZarif knows they are being held as political pawns for negotiations, his regime should not be rewarded for its outlaw & pirate like behavior.
3/3 engaging this absurd offer would provide the regime with a talking point they once enjoyed under the last American administration that rewarded their piracy (& flew them €€€ in dark of the night).
